Krista Beavers is the Founder and CFO of Guardian Accounting, Inc. She has owned the company for eight years and has been in her professional field for fifteen years. She owns a small accounting and bookkeeping firm dedicated to helping small to medium size companies who have been owned for 2-3 years.
Krista previously worked for a CPA firm and a lot of small businesses and says had way too much paperwork piled up at the end of the year and too much debt with loans, etc. She thought they were unorganized and decided to start her own company so she could handle business the way she wanted to. Krista says she does not really have an area of expertise, she is well rounded, but her favorite to work with are women owned businesses because they are more open minded, understanding and family oriented.
Krista has a degree in Accounting from National University in 2002. She is a member of a local Polka Dot, is on the Board for Professional Women's Resources, Clovis Chamber and she is also looking into the local BNI. Krista will be doing her first public speaking event this year. She has been featured in a local journal in January 2019.
In the future she hopes to expand her business a bit further out so she can help as many businesses as she can. She attributes her success to hard work and honesty, delivering more than you promise and owning up to mistakes. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
