Alessandra Apestegui is a Consulting Manager at PwC Peru and champion of PwC business transformation methodology “Transform”. Today, with over eleven years of experience in her career, Alessandra is best known for her expertise in business process and organizational structure re-design and acting as PMO for several projects. She has participated in projects with clients coming from sectors such as banking, telecom, energy, retail and non-governmental among others. Her experience includes:  Finance transformation and process improvement according to best practices and benchmarks.  Process and control documentation in compliance with SOX guidelines.  Organizational structure re-design including core competence model definition, manual of functions development, career path definition  Professionalizing family business including “Protocolo Familiar” design  PMO for projects related to financial and insurance companies that wanted to enter to the Peruvian market stablish an office in Lima, and need to comply with the Local Regulator requirements.  PMO for 5 years for PwC Peru strategic plans. In addition, Alessandra has worked as Local Fund Agent since 2009 until 2016 for the Global Fund, an international non-governmental organization, to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (TGF), monitoring Peruvian Tuberculosis and HIV programs verifying Financial and Programmatic progress and verifying country disbursements requests. In 2008, Alessandra earned a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering at Universidad de Lima, before moving on to receive an Engineering Certification at the Peruvian Engineering College in 2010. In the next three to five years, Alessandra would like to transition from her role into that of a Director role and she would like to get a few more certifications. Alessandra attributes her success to the support she received from her family and mentors she has had over the years. In her personal time, Alessandra enjoys spending time with her kids, cooking and traveling.
