-Graduated with honors for her Bachelor's degree -Internal awards with Dell, the highest recently, being twice named one of the Dell Rockstars for her leadership skills, based on an internal survey of employees -in 2009, she got a Gold Award when part of a 4 person team for a long process of launching retail in LATAM for Dell which had not existed. THEY were the first to create it--it's her baby
Ada Cleghorn is Cliente Solutions Sales Director at Dell, Inc., where she has been for the past 11 years. With nearly 20 years of experience in her career, she joined Dell on the consumer side. She enjoys building new systems and products from the ground up, found that she was able to change processes and create new things when there was an opportunity to move to the commercial side. Ever ready to embrace a new challenge, she saw becoming the new team manager as an exciting new endeavor when the opportunity arose. Ada cites that is "if something doesn't scare [her] enough, it isn't good enough!" She recognizes this mantra's close connection to sale, and is always excited to accept a new challenge that will promote growth int he company and personally. She does internal public speaking, and has received numerous awards through Dell for her contributions. Ada holds an MBA from Louisville University, class of 2007. She is a member of several associations within Dell, including Women in Action. Looking ahead, she is moving into a new position that will take on a new role and a new country. She in currently on track to be named top sales leader in the region within the next 3 years, and credits her success to her networking abilities and the tailored attention she is able to give to each client and new project.
