For over a decade, Dr. Adriana de Jesus Aguirre has been a researcher with the Mexican Institute of Petroleum. In this role, Dr. Aguirre brings unprecedented expertise in chemical engineering to her laboratory work separating oil, rocks and sediments, researching microbial contracts and identifying molecules.
A dynamic public speaker, Dr. Aguirre holds her Doctoral Degree in Chemistry and was a speaker in Copenhagen for the International Energy Association Symposium. Also a prolific writer, she has been published in various scientific publications.
Moving forward, Dr. Aguirre wants to follow her dreams and help other women to follow through with their vision, goals and dreams in spite of the many life changes that women experience. She enjoys demonstrating that science can be fun and exciting.
