Annette Fox Bruisehead is the High School Principal of Kainai High School. Her schools offer programs to produce confident and culturally sensitive students. Her goal is to help students become responsible, natural learners, aware of their special individual abilities in a metacognitive environment. These students value a traditional and contemporary lifestyle of their tribes. Annette strengthens the Blackfoot language and increases knowledge of culture and history. She believes in teaching a second language to students to enable them to think more creatively and therefore increase their academic capacity for all subjects in school. When not working she enjoys hiking and enjoys the beautiful mountains of Canada.
