Ahlem Arfaoui is President of International Organization of Local Government. She runs a non-profit that offers training and employment for women. She is working with local governments to get them work.
Ahlem speaks four languages: Arabic, English, French and Spanish. She previously worked for the Ministry of Interior, Head of Special Delegation of Municipality of Beja, then was a Delegate of North Beja and Municipality Second Degree Secretary General. She built the company to help promote the integration of women into local government and political positions, and to help bring them into positions to be decision makers.
She wants to grow her business to beyond the scope of just local government, and she also wants to expand to more locations. She is most proud of starting her own business, and wants to network with others, exchange experiences, and possibly find new business partners. Her hobbies include travel, reading, and handball. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
