Aida Avila is the Founder of Cuckoo Nation and an Independent Designer working with housing design, special machines and products. In this role, Aida maintains the client list and satisfaction in terms of creative and industrial design. Since she was a child, she has always had a creative interest and it was a natural step to start her own venture. Aida has knowledge of engineering and it was a convenient move for her. She realized that she does enjoy design overall and has also had experience with accessories and fashion, making it an interesting change in her career.
Aida holds her Bachelor's degree in Industrial & Product Design. Moving forward, she would like to see her company grow as a designer and to have other projects running at the same time. She would hope to have a team working under her at some point and to expand her business.
When not engaged with work, Aida enjoys reading, yoga, and horseback riding. Also a passionate philanthropist, she works frequently with special needs children ages 2-6 and provides therapy for them through horses.
