Alexandra Pinto is Global Head of Solutions and Innovation with a focus in Retail, specialising in Oracle, for Wipro Ltd, a leading global information technology, consulting and business process services based in India, with over 160k people. Its specialty is harnessing the power of cognitive computing, hyper automation, robotics, cloud, analytics and emerging technologies to help its clients adapt to the digital world and to make them successful. Wipro provides a wide portfolio of services to industries including but not limited to Consumer, Government, Banking, Healthcare, Transportation, Communications. Alexandra is focused on Retail, and within that is ascending within the company and will soon move to the be based out of Wipro's prestigious Technovation Center in California. Alexandra holds her Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Minho and a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Networks, also from the University of Minho. She is also a member of the Engineering Society in Portugal. A dynamic public speaker, she frequently speaks at colleges as a specialist in maths and physics. Moving forward, Alexandra plans to grow in her position from her new base in California and to network internationally as much as possible with likeminded professionals. When not engaged with work, Alexandra enjoys travel, playing the piano and reading historical books as well as books on the advancement of women.
