Alice Borges Fernandes Pereira is an esteemed Lawyer in Rio de Janeiro where she brings unprecedented expertise in Law, particularly patent law in the genetics industry. Ms. Pereira uses her platform to passionately defend the rights of people who have no voice and are considered minorities in her country when they may not have the resources to help themselves. She is fluent in Portuguese, French, Spanish and English. Ms. Pereira holds her Master's degree in Law from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and is currently in the process of acquiring her Doctorate and publishing her thesis. Moving forward, she hopes to continue working for human rights and advocating for minorities, possibly through writing for the UN. She is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
