Alisa Jane Rutherford Page is Manager at Fyra Fotter, and has over 31 years experience in her field. She is the owner of the company, and is a speech and language therapist using animals for therapy. She loves working with people and animals, and enjoyed her previous career but wanted to combine both passions.
She has a Masters Degree in speech and language from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2001,and works with profound and high functioning disabilities. She belongs to the the Speech and Language Specialists Association and the Animals Society. She wants to build a center catering to animal therapy, and wants to use her skills to help people with disabilities and improve the courses that she currently has in place.
She says the key to her success is having a passion for what you are doing. In her spare time she loves running with her dogs and spending time with animals, outdoor sports, sailing with her husband, painting, Scottish country dancing, and going to folk and jazz concerts. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
