Allegra Tasaki is the Marketing Director for EDmarket. They are a non profit and she has been with them for three years now. During her day she has meetings regarding events, she does strategic planning, works on corporate sponsorship and does data management. She came into this field by way on natural progression.
Allegra says that she is a constant learner. Her expertise are in writing, marketing and data analytics. She has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Nonprofit Management and Marketing from the University of Maryland in 2000. Allegra is a member of the American Society of Association Executives. She has spoken at several conferences and has also done some webinars.
In the future she would like to manage a small association and she is working on cost sharing and revenue building. She attributes her success to perseverance. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
