Alyssa Jordan is the Senior Analyst for Information Security for CIBC First Caribbean International Bank. She has been in her current role for ten months and has been in the industry working for the same company for three years. Her duties include creating operations related to IT security, handling malware incidents and protecting integrity of cloud computing.
She was prompted to go into this field by her background in computers and through her studies that led her to her job with this organization three years ago. Her work ethic gave her a chance to temporarily fill in on a security role for six months and her performance led to her role to become permanent. The organization sponsored her certification as a security analyst.
In the next few years her goals are to open her own business showing people the different ways to use technology and to publish articles or a book on this topic. She attributes her success to the support of family and friends, the support of management and colleagues in her organization and her own creativity. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
