Aisha Mahmood has over 15 years of experience in her current field. She is a teacher for Manitoba Teachers’ Society. She teaches 7th grade Junior High. She teaches geography and social justice, novel studies, and works with special needs students. She has two Bachelor’s degree in History and Languages from the University of Winnipeg from 2004. She is part of the Manitoba Teacher Society. She runs a dog rescue called Save the Dog Network. In her free time she enjoys reading and sports roller derby. In the next few years she wants to complete her Master’s degree and do more writing about special education. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
