Dr. Antonella Marino is a Biomedical Engineer for Vega SpA, a 6 year old medical device company specializing in cardiac devices, sales, and training of surgeons and patient families. She is in charge of presenting to hospitals across Italy, drafting proposals, contracts, training and implementations of device use, and is also responsible for finances once hospitals decide to purchase devices.
She started in sales of devices during school and was interested in genetic studies, so she studied biomedical engineering because it was in the middle of the technology and biology aspects. She has a doctorate in Biomedical engineering from Polytechnic of Milano, and specializes in teaching and training.
She is most proud of her results, and saving patients lives after a heart transplant. She enjoys travel, reading, and sports. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
