Amy G. Branning is the Plant Controller for Graphic Packaging International. She has over 19 years of experience in her field. She says that on a day to day basis she does reports, analysis, meets with managers in the company and monitors sales and budgets. She began her career when she was managing her father’s company during college and fell in in love with accounting at that time.
Amy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Accounting from Mississippi State University in 2007. She does presentations at her job fairly often. She says that she won the President Scholar Award when she graduated in 2007. Amy attributes her success to taking her job and her responsibilities very seriously and also being open to sharing her knowledge with others.
In the next few years Amy says she would like to be talking more about handling attitudes as times change and how to handle things that are unexpected in the workplace. She also hopes to help and inspire others. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
