Amy L. Butler is Director of Respiratory Services at NMMC-Hamilton, a role she stepped into in 2008. Amy has worked in the industry for 16 years and is currently responsible for all pulmonary and heart programs at NMMC. Prior to entering the hospital and health care industry, Amy worked in law enforcement for ten years. Amy’s interest in pulmonary care comes from having a brother, and now a daughter, with Asthma. She received her Bachelors degree in Respiratory Care Therapy from Boise State University and an Associates degree in Respiratory Care from Shelton State Community College. Whats most rewarding to Amy is seeing the increased quality of life in her patients and seeing how much growth they have achieved because of the programs at NMMC. Within the next five years, Amy plans to return to school in pursuit of an MBA.
