Anca Vlad is the Vice President of Decision Support for Scotiabank, one of North America’s premier financial institutions, and Canada’s most international bank. It is the 3rd largest bank in Canada that offers a broad range of products and services, including retail, commercial, corporate and investment banking to more than 12.5 million customers in some 50 countries around the world. Through her innovated and complex analysis talent, Anca works in the finance division leading strategy, vision and solutions in designing a road map for the business technology solutions in project management. She is involved with the operational sector of her division including forecasting, data relationship management and building the future business and relationships within the financial components on a international spectrum. Anca is instrumental in team development for the evolving demands in a new global environment, and the need to develop leaders has never been more important. She is focused on making leadership a competitive advantage and developing global leaders who foster greater collaboration, empowerment and innovation. Anca’s charitable organization, JDRF Canada’s mission is to improve the lives of all people affected by T1D by accelerating progress on the most promising opportunities for curing, treating, and preventing the disease. In her spare time she enjoys to travel with her husband to unusual far off places.
