Angela Brown is a Children’s Entertainer and Educator known as 'The Ta Daa Lady. She has produced and presented many solo performances (storytelling, song, clown, mime, dance and puppetry). Angela is owner and operator of the Nylon Zoo. She has, in her repertoire, a variety of inflatable sculptures (dragon, whale, salmon, dinosaur, castle, wetland swamp, wetland marsh, rainbow dome and eco dome). These are inflatable sculptures for interactive storytelling inside and they come along with a wide variety of costumes for parades & dances. Angela is a visual artist and performance artist. She often combined her various art forms and combines her performance work with projections of her painting/drawing unto inflatable sculptures (created by Evelyn Roth - a world- renowned wearable artist based in Australia). She presents in galleries, theatres and outdoor venues throughout B.C. Angela is a professional dancer of many styles, including French Baroque dance from the court of Louis the IVth and Renaissance Dance. She teaches and performs the above styles of dancing and is a member of the Canadian Actors Union.
Moving forward, Angela hopes to continue to do what she loves which is performing, acting, singing, choreography, directing, and writing.
