Dr. Anna Assef-Vaziri has a PhD in Psychology from the University of Lausanne where she obtained a license in a combination of psychological measurement and experimental studies. She also studied psycho-pathological studies and psycho-diagnostics in Geneva and Fribourg. Dr. Assef-Vaziri was initially interested in disorders of childhood development, as well as a focus on mother-child attachment and autism. She was able to obtain an internship as a psychologist working with adults at the psychiatric hospital in Marsens doing psycho-diagnostic work and started her training in Behaviour and Cognitive Therapy. After the end of her internship she was called back as a consultant, training and supervising the nursing and medical team, in parallel to the clinical training and supervising of the students in applied psychology at the University of Lausanne. She has 24 years of experience in the Psychology field, and has had her own practice for 18 years. After starting her practice she was very present during a decade in the media with numerous articles, conferences and interviews (written press and broadcast). The following decade she focused on acquiring and developing skills in Schema Therapy as well as Coaching and Professional Training and Supervising. She is fluent in three languages, English, French, and Swedish, and volunteers much of her time to the local community, taking care of animals. Dr. Assef-Vaziri has joined the Who's Who to network with like-minded professionals and promote her personal brand.
