Personal Information
Ann L. Koosman is an Architect at A+Works. She has over 15 years of experience in her career field. She says that she is an assistant professor as well as a consultant at the firm and she does a lot of communication and management. She says that has always loved drawing homes on graph paper and has always admired Frank Wright and his work.
Ann is best known for her participatory design. She has a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Molake College in 2007. She also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Science Architecture in 2002. Ann is a member of Community Design, ACD, Full Bright Alumni and ACSA. She says that she speaks at conferences for ACSA. She has had several journal publications and wrote a newspaper article for “Working in Philippines.” Ann says that she has written several articles about homeless communities in Seattle as well. She won the Fullbright Research Award.
She says the key to her success has been due to her great mentors and her support network, including her dad. She says in the next few years she hopes to design, execute and complete the plan structure of a new building. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
