Annika Kalvia is CEO of Twalk (Walk A Friend), a concept to promote walking and outdoor exercising with a focus on physical and mental wellbeing. The main theme is to activate friends and societies to inspire and motivate each other for social and proactive exercising. She has a BA in Restaurant Management from Hagga-Helia University of Applied Sciences.
Annika has started several successful businesses over the last 20 years. She owned Neuser Basses, which produced high-end hand-made bass guitars and other stringed instruments; the company was so successfully branded that celebrities were using the instruments. Annika speaks seven languages: English, Finnish, German, Czech, Swedish, French and Slovak. Annika has, as a volunteer, ran a figuring skating club for over 300 girls in Finland. A mother of three, Annika enjoys ballroom dance, fitness and walking.
