I have recently joined the legal team at the Massy Group in the role of Legal Advisor. Prior to this, I gained extensive experience in the field of Banking, Corporate Governance and Compliance at the executive management level at Intercommercial Bank and Intercommercial Trust and Merchant Bank Limited. In building the Secretariat of IBL Bank, our Team was able to provide sound advice to the executive management and team members of the Bank in the areas of Compliance, the law relating to Banking, Transaction Structuring and Recovery. In addition, I was able to hone my legal and governance skills further by serving as Chairman of the Heritage and Stabilisation Fund, the lone sovereign wealth fund in the Caribbean which grew, not only through injections from the Government of Trinidad and Tobago but significantly through sound investment. I currently serve on the Board of EPL Properties Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of Eastern Credit Union) as a Director as I continue to contribute to the Credit Union movement not only in my capacity as a Member. My experience has afforded me a diversified blend of both public and private service experience at middle management and executive levels. I hold strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills with a keen drive to learn and succeed in the corporate environment.
