Andi Zhamierashvili is the Regional Human Resources Officer for FAO. She has over 20 years of experience in her field. She is over Human Resources for 20 countries and her regional office is in Turkey. She helps with recruitment, organization designing, development and strategies. She says that after she graduated in Public Administration she entered the UN and that’s when she developed her passion for her career. She says that she is best known for her expertise in human resources, strategies, development and leadership. Andi has a Master’s Degree in Journalism from Moscow and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Rutgers University in 1996. She belongs to the American Human Resources Society. Andi had an article published in 2001 called “Going Home.” In the future she hopes to be the Director of HR Vice President within her company. She attributes her success to her drive, persistence, communication and open door policy. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
