She attained an MBA in International Business from The Superieur de Gestion in Paris France, as well as a Masters and Bachelors Degree in Education; Science, Math, and English from The University of British Columbia. Barbara is also a Member of the Institute of Corporate Directors, International Association of Business Communicators, and The International Public Relations and Communications Group. She has had a laudable career spanning over 25+ years as a Professional Communicator with experience in start-ups, public and privately listed companies, as well as government regulators in Canada and The United States. Barbara has been the CEO of ELE Management for over 10 years, which is a strategic stakeholder communications consulting company in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her experience includes working on Wall Street as Associate Director, Asia Pacific, for Thomson Financial, Director of Financial Communications for TXU, a Fortune 500 energy company as well as Manager of Investor Relations for Bell Canada in Montreal. Barbara's expertise include strategic planning, tactical execution, management of people and projects. She is adept at all aspects and areas of integrated communications, financial and business communication, investor relations, government relations and corporate governance.
