After 27 years of success in different roles with Accenture, including Country Managing Director and Regional Technology Lead, Beatriz Carmona has recently retired and plans to use her vast wealth of knowledge to educate and empower women in the workforce. While with Accenture, Ms. Carmona was responsible for the creation of Accenture operations in Colombia, and managing the P&L of the Technology Business in Latam, including acccountability for sales, net revenues and margin of the business. She led the execution of transformation projects for clients, and managed the technology teams in the 4 countries that she supervised, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Colombia. After receiving her Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Simon Bolivar University in Venezuela, Ms. Carmona enjoyed rapid success in her field by maintaining client relations, developing teams and consistently executing transformation programs ensuring high performance. A dynamic public speaker, she has spoken in many local conferences in Colombia and was once part of a panel in world economic teaching. Moving forward, Ms. Carmona plans to lead transformation programs that leverage new technologies to create new Business models. She is also planning to be part of Boards of Directors for companies that have a clear purpose of transformation. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her two girls.
