Dr. Beatriz Quiñones-Vallejo has several years of experience in her current field. In 2000 she was the only Spanish speaking person at the decision table. She attended a meeting for research on how the media presents health issues in Canada. She has a Master’s in Public Health Education for Women and a Master’s in Public Relations. In her free time she enjoys being able to journal all of her experiences with her daughter. She belongs to the Health Educator Association and the Public Relations Association. In the next few years she would like to collaborate with bigger institutions. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
