With 10 years of experience in her profession, Bernice Gonzalez is a Consultant and Advisor at BIG Enterprises where she holds meetings with senior or elected officials within the public sector, coaches and trains leaders, and reaches out directly to the community. Bernice holds her Master's degree in Public Space & Public Art from the University of Barcelona, where she graduated in 2012. She is also currently studying for her Doctoral degree in Conscious Business Ethics at the University of Sedona and is expected to graduate in 2021. Bernice serves as a Council member for the Alberta Professional Planners Institute, an Advisory Committee member for the National Advisory Committee on Affordable Housing in Canada, a Certified Planner member by the American Institute of Certified Planners, a candidate member mentor for the American Institute of Certified Planners, a volunteer consultant for the Council of the New Urbanism California Chapter, and a peer review member for a journal in Colombia called "Tekne". Moving forward, she is working on a book and she would like to be speaking internationally and actively mentoring leaders of change. When not engaged with work, Bernice likes road trips, photography, film, and writing.
