Bixi Kruse lives in Stavanger, Norway and is Solutions Design Manager for T.D.Williamson’s corporate HR team (HQ in Tulsa Oklahoma). She is responsible for strategic projects in both talent and employee engagement. Previously at TDW she was the HR Business Partner for their SmartPlug® technology division in Norway. Prior to TDW, Bixi held numerous management positions during her 16 years at Schlumberger in Operations, QHSE, HR and Sales. Bixi’s interest in leadership and people might be somewhat surprising as she has a theoretical mathematical background with a Master’s Degree in Geophysics from the University of Oslo in Norway (1990). She spent the first years of her career in research, before joining Schlumberger – where she discovered her talent for managing people. Her passion for travel and languages is exceeded only by her passion for people! Bixi is a member of HR Norway. Currently, she is not engaged in any public speaking engagements but is open to the challenge. In the future Bixi is open to moving within the company and perhaps even to a different location. Her husband owns his own company, which provides flexibility. Bixi says the key to her success has been her passionate engagement with the subjects she works with, whilst thriving on the close interaction with her peers and management. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
