Brenda Harris Pinder is a highly skilled, talented management professional with almost 30 year’s wealth of knowledge and experience within the financial sector. Brenda has held management and directorship roles within major offshore banks within the Bahamas and internationally with KPMG in the Netherlands and the Cayman Islands. Brenda has recently assumed the position of COO for Deltec Funds Services Limited where she brings dynamic leadership skills and unmatched expertise to her role. In this new role she spearheads a wide gamut of company undertakings including oversight of risk management, internal and operational controls, compliance with regulatory requirements as well as the daily management of the Fund Administration operations. She is also tasked with the develop and implementation of growth strategies based on the Company’s defined strategic objectives and acts as a liaison between company and client for quality assurance. Brenda has a proven track record of accomplishments in the area of productive team leadership in Fund Services, Trust, Corporate Administration & Accounting, Audit, Policy, Compliance and Risk Management. She holds her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University, she is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed under the New Hampshire State Board of Accountancy where he is a standing member. Brenda is also a standing member of the Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountants (CISPA) and the Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA). Brenda is also a Certified International Risk Manager and Certified Credit Professional with the Royal Bank of Scotland in England. Outside of these accomplishments within the Bahamas' second foundational industry Brenda has countless social interventions under belt as well. As the founder and executive director of a local Community Empowerment Center, she has demonstrated her passion for the development of underprivileged youth, community building and social justice. Mrs. Harris Pinder is a Financial Planner, Motivational Speaker, Coach, Mentor, Talk Show Host, Nationalist and Political Activist.. A passionate philanthropist, Brenda donates time and resources to various Non-Profit Organizations locally including the Organization for Responsible Governance, the Timothy Education Program, Epic Love and the Youth Empowerment Program. When not engaged with work, she enjoys volleyball, cycling, jogging and kickboxing. Brenda expressed great hopes for the future, where she envisions her company as the number one Fund Administrator within the Bahamas and the Caribbean. She plans to continue to be an agent of change and inspiration promoting and agitating for transformational change, social justice and income equality within her nation.
