Brigitte Pabst is the Director of VHS Rudolfsheim (Adult Education Centre) at VHS Wien. She has over ten years of experience in her career field. Brigitte is the head of the adult education academy and is in charge of overseeing 1,000 employees, 16 directors and the overall operation of the school.
She says she has always liked trying new and different things and this career allows her to do so. She is best known for her creativity. Brigitte has a Master’s Degree in Social Science from Fahoschuler University in 2006. She hosts some conferences and has made videos on volunteering in Vienna.
She wrote an article for a book when she was a senior researcher for Red Cross in 2008 on her research findings. She also won an award for a movie she made on education. Brigitte attributes her success to being strategic, creative and determined.
She is planning on retiring in five years and wants to continue the academy and appoint two women to take over her position when she retires. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
