Cara Goldenberg has been in her professional career for more than 15 years, working successfully in the financial services and investments industry. In 2008, at the age of 26, Cara founded Permian Investment Partners, a New York City-based hedge fund focusing on undervalued companies. She began her career at Morgan Stanley in Private Equity. After two years, she joined Highbridge Capital Management, the hedge-fund firm owned by JPMorgan Chase & Co., then was recruited to Brahman Capital Corp to establish a European investment team. At Brahman Capital, Cara became the firm’s youngest partner, and oversaw a $2 billion European equity portfolio, and was the second largest investor in FIAT which re-rated 6- fold during her holding. She now lives in Milan full-time, and through Infraitalia is focused at present on outright buyouts intended to accelerate the optimization of efficiency in the cellular transmission sector. Through Positioning Dynamics SrL, she has made important investments in novel infrastructure models with highly differentiated features serving global markets still untested by traditional latency-sensitive infrastructure users. Now, Cara is the Founding Partner of The Oliver Opportunistic Fund, where she handles investments flexibility and public equities. She divides her professional time doing volunteer work with ASPCA and the animal shelter. On occasion, Cara is a keynote speaker at conferences regarding investments. She credits her success to her passion for the industry and enjoying what she does. She would like to network with like-minded professionals and share her expertise. Cara is fluent in Italian, French, Portuguese, and English.
