Carin Fredlund is a Journalist for Nota Bene AB. She has owned the company since 1985.
She has covered and analyzed the marketing and advertising area for over 30 years and during 20 of these years she was the owner and publisher of the trade magazine, Quo Vadis.
She has been active as a columnist for, among others, the major Scandinavian business daily (Dagens Industri) and is active as a writer, moderator and speaker.
Her major assignment today is as editor-in-chief for a trade journal published by the Swedish Marketing Confederation.
Carin’s expertise are in journalism, marketing, branding (advertising) and analyzing. She has an Associate’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Stockholm in 1983.
She belongs to a local Women's Trade Network and the Swedish Federation of Business Owners (where she was earlier a member of the board in a lokal bransch). She also does some public speaking at seminars in reference to advertising and marketing as well as the creative revolutions in Sweden.
Carin has been published a lot since she is a journalist, both articles, reports, papers and four books. One of them was awarded "Marketing book of the year" in 2006. Women in Marketing commended her Journalist of the Year in 2017.
Carin is also one of the founders and co-owners of Lex Press AB. The company started in 1995 and provides information for research, background checks and paralegal work to professionals in law, audit, finance and public authorities. The company offers newsletters and extensive court cases databases in areas such as tax law, environmental law, labor law, intellectual property law, financial crime, property law etc.
In the next few years Carin is aiming at working more on an international level and to continue to grow and spread knowledge to others. She attributes her success to being curious, her professionalism, hard work, passion and integrity. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
