Carla Diéguez, a native of Brazil, holds her PhD and is a Professor at Fundação Escola de Sociologia e Política de São Paulo where she teaches sociology and conducts research. In 2016, she became Course Coordinator in the undergraduate course of Sociology and in 2017, the Academic Board named her Coordinator Course and Academic Director of the School of Sociology and Politics.
Carla firmly believes that hard work is the key to her success as well as maintaining a positive attitude and good energy. Also a dynamic speaker, she frequently lectures on her expertise. Moving forward, Carla hopes to network as much as possible with likeminded female professionals worldwide. She is a member of the Brazilian Society of Sociology.
When not engaged with work, Carla enjoys travel, reading and biking.
