Carole Coune is a mediator, consultant, manager, and business owner with over 20 years of experience in legal and management functions within the transportation sector. After much experience in the policy cell of the Belgian Minister for Transport and the Minister for Public Participations, Carole became Director General for Land Transport at the Belgian Ministry of Transport (FPS Mobility and Transport) in 2005. In 2008, she became President of the FPS Management Board where she guided the ministry through a very successful term through the European Council of the European Union. In 2015, Carole opened L'Equipage attitudesprl to provide management, mediation and consultancy services.
Carole has served as Secretary General of the International Transport Forum (ITF) and performed various functions within the Belgian National Railways (SNCB) where she was Secretary to the Management Board, and led a division in the Department of International Affairs. She is passionate about the world of transportation, experienced in management, and dedicated to supporting clients in projects, especially in transport, mobility and logistics. Carole is also an expert for the Higher Education Institution of the Province de Liège and enjoys walking, music, dance and cinema.
