Caroline Bilen has a medical background with more than 25 years extensive experience in health care system. She is CEO of the compass health consultancy, a consulting, training and coaching company she founded to empower healthcare professionals and organizations with the knowledge and skills to improve health performance and outcomes to achieve Zero harm. . Caroline holds a bachelor’s degree in Nursing and held the position of operating room nursing manager and Director for nursing home called Home care Lebanon. She certified trainer for Infection Control, patient safety program and JCI program “Safety in Surgical Services.
Caroline has 15 years international experience in training healthcare professionals to elevate clinical standard of care in Central East Europe and middle east and Africa. Additionally, she worked with healthcare authorities, senior and executive’s management teams, using design thinking approach to develop strategic frameworks, clinical guidelines, innovation programs to improve patient safety and outcomes. Caroline is passionate about patient safety and is regularly engaged as keynote speaker and moderator at international and national symposia. She is a published author and her work has been broadly published and quoted in the media.
