Traveling and community service through her Church, United Church of Canada (working with rights of indigenous people and Palestinian immigrants presently)
Carol-Ann Marshall, a former teacher and police officer who currently works as a Team Head for the Ontario government Human Rights Office that handles complaints based on discrimination and harassment, started her Freedom to Fly just under one year ago. Through Freedom to Fly she offers all the experience and knowledge she has gathered over 25 years, as well as her own personal history, to clients as a relationship coach specializing in emotional trauma, specifically emotional abuse. She recently wrote a book, 'I Dare You! Conquer Fear and Free Yourself from Emotional Abuse' to help other women recognize the signs of emotional abuse and to provide them with tools to help them thrive after experiencing the trauma.
Moving forward, Carol-Ann plans to develop a strong coaching business focused on group coaching that serves an international clientele and to host retreats where women go to heal. Also a passionate philanthropist, she volunteers time and resources through her church, the United Church of Canada, and is presently advocating for the rights of indigenous people and Palestinian immigrants.
In her spare time, Carol-Ann enjoys music and used to sing opera.
