Carol Ann Stephens is a Research Assistant for UTT. She says that she is very passionate about molecular biology and genetics as it relates to forensic testing. Primarily, Carol Ann undertakes preliminary data using research techniques, collects and analyzes data and manages and maintains research databases. She compiles progress reports as well.
She has a Master’s Degree in Forensic Science from West Indies Mona Campus in 2014. She says that she had some training in public speaking and that her good communication skills aid her with her interaction with the public. Carol Ann assists with research grant application preparation.
She attributes her success to always being ready and willing to learn, being eager and putting forth her best foot at any task that is handed to her. She says that she is a hard worked and ensures that any job she is given is completed efficiently. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
