Carrie Gour is owner of Write On Girl Inc., a happy, little company providing writing services to those in need: articles, proposals, white papers, websites, reports, research and creative writing. Carrie puts structure and story-telling at the heart of even the driest of content. Believe it: emotional engagement and energy is possible in virtually all contexts. Known for being an "idea generator" she is adept at not only articulating those ideas in writing but also to persuasively market and sell them, skillfully communicating with stakeholders throughout. Enthusiastic with a strong sense of humor, Carrie is a self-proclaimed adventurer, curious about this world and the people in it. She has largely been working within the film and television industries over the past ten years as a concept-creator and sales writer, but has experience in a wide variety of positions: scenic artist, script supervisor, props builder, set decorator. She has created, story-edited and/or produced award-winning documentaries for Discovery Channel, National Geographic and the Food Network. Though the positions have changed multiple times, writing is the constant.
