Cathy Chalack is the President of Ulterra Equestrial Ltd. The company is in Alberta, Canada and Cathy has been the owner since 1988. She says that she is a fifth generation breeder. She buys and sells horses internationally.
Cathy specializes in marketing and breeding horses. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from The University of Alberta in 1988. She is a member of Equestrian Canada, Animal Farmcare Committee, Alberta Teachers Association and International Young Breeders Association. She was published in the book “Stable Management in Canada.”
She attributes her success to her ability to work in teams, her marketing strategies and her technological skills. In the future she hopes to focus on consulting and her personal breeding consulting services. She says that her biggest accomplishment has been winning The Breeder Award. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
