After a career as a police officer for over 27 years, Charmane Dalhouse now serves as a Trade Officer for the Department of Commerce and Investments where she brings unprecedented expertise in government relations, trade and business, and public administration to her role. She holds her Associate's degree in Public Administration from the University of the Cayman Islands and is a member of the Cayman Islands Civil Service Toast Masters. Frequently lauded for her work, Ms. Dalhouse received a Cayman Island Police Citation for Live Saving and Commendation by the Grand Court Judge in a rape investigation. Also a passionate philanthropist, Ms. Dalhouse donates time and resources frequently to Meals on Wheels and other charities in her community. When not engaged with work, she enjoys travel, exercise, dance and music.
