Cheryl Fattibene is already thriving in her new role as State Practice Manager for CVS Minute Clinic in the state of Pennsylvania, overseeing the business of a successful chain of retail health centers. She interfaces with local, state, and even federal entities, and CVS Minute Clinic recently awarded them for best payroll oversight and retention in their district. Cheryl studied French and English at University of Rouen for her undergraduate degree and completed two Masters degrees at Yale University and Yale University School of Medicine. She speaks English, French, and some Italian. After her undergraduate program, Cheryl also volunteered for the Peace Corps in West Africa for 4 years. In addition to her management responsibilities, Cheryl also serves as a media spokesperson for the state, often appearing on local television stations, on the radio, doing spots on various healthcare issues. She also published an article in The American Journal of Managed Care on the pros and cons of pap smears, and is also affiliated with local universities as a guest speaker and mentor for new Nurses and Nurse Practitioners, including at University of Penn and Eastern University. Cheryl also sits on the Professional Practice and Affiliations committee at Minute Clinic with the executive management team to develop best practices for company on legal, ethical and professional challenges. In her spare time, Cheryl participates in Fun Fitness programs for the Youth Mentoring Partnership, serving as a volunteer and mentor for at risk kids. She also enjoys speaking French and networking with Francais Accueil in Philadelphia. Cheryl is striving to positively impact the healthcare industry by parlaying all of her skills and experience in both non-profit and for-profit environments in order to effectively streamline healthcare services and provide quality healthcare at a lower cost for the overall community.
