Christine Alexander is the CEO of Carers Trust, East Midlands where she spearheads 600 employees providing the utmost in at-home care to those with disabilities and the elderly.
After studying Hotel Management at West Notts University, Ms. Alexander managed a catering department within a group of nursing homes. After speaking to the elderly people and realizing that they have a wealth of knowledge and experience, but aren't often valued, she decided to begin her organization, which has since enjoyed great success. Also a dynamic public speaker, Ms. Alexander has spoken at conferences and small scale events connected to her sector. She is soon to be published in two publications, Parliamentary Review in February 2019 and CEO Today in November 2018.
Moving forward, Ms. Alexander plans to stay with her organization and to grow it to 20-25 million pounds turnover. When not engaged with work, she enjoys travel and cooking.
