Cherry Martin-Knowles is a Patient Advocate and Nurse Manager at Doctors Hospital. With over seventeen years of experience in her field, Cherry is best known for expertise in patient relations and management. In her current role, she is responsible for handling all patient care issues, arranging air lift care and air ambulances and overseeing day to day patient concerns. Additionally, Cherry is the liaison for patients and physicians and she sits on a few committees including the Risk Committee, the Environmental Care Committee and the Nursing Committee.
At the moment, Cherry is pursuing a Master’s degree in Service Excellence at Ardon University, which she will complete in 2019.
Cherry is currently a member of the Beryl Institute for Patient Experience, the American Heart Association and the Nursing Association.
In the next three to five years, Cherry plans to complete her degree and she would also like to transition from her role to an executive level role. She accredits her success to the love she has for her work. Cherry is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member of the Worldwide Association of Female Professionals.
