Ms. Williams is the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs at Dominion Leadership University. Prior to serving as the Assistant Dean, Ms. Williams served as the Senior Events Planner for the Office of Diversity and Cultural Competence at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and formerly as the Director of The Racial Justice Campaign for Progressive Majority in Washington, DC were she ensured representative parity in recruiting, training and electing candidates of diverse cultures to run for state and local elections in eight swing states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Washington, and Wisconsin. Ms. Williams earned a Masters of Arts degree from Bowie State University in Human Resource Development. She obtained a certification from Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations in Human Resource Management & Diversity Management and a Bachelor's of Arts degree in theology from Logos Christian College in Jacksonville, Florida. She was also identified as a member of the International Honor Society in 2013. Last, Ms. Williams has been an ordained minister since 2002 under Kingdom Fellowship Ministries in Towson Maryland. Ms. Williams uses her skills to advocate for diversity and inclusion among underrepresented individuals in the community. She aims to close the disparity gaps faced by people of diverse ethnicities by promoting fair and equitable human rights and economic justice through diversity & inclusion initiatives and human resource policy and procedures in the marketplace. She believes, as societal challenges continue to unfurl, we, as progressive leaders and agents of change have opportunities to reenergize communities that have historically been the political core by embracing and empowering communities of color. While many civil rights leaders have dedicated their lives to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality for all people.
