Claudine Douglas has been with the Linstead Public Hospital for the past 19 years, where she currently serves as Nurse Manager. A highly skilled nurse with experience in midwifery, Claudine manages several members of specific departments and supervises all nursing productivity.
Having come from a family in which she was the only daughter, Claudine found nursing to be a natural progression for her. She holds a Master of Arts in Public Health, and is a member of the Nurses Association of Jamaica. She has been recognized by the hospital multiple times for her contributions to the institution, and is a passionate advocate for women's rights and advancement.
Claudine credits her success to hard work, passion and perseverance. Outside of work, she works with women who have been victims of domestic violence to empower them and help them navigate the next steps in their lives.
