Carla Mascarenhas is the IP and Project Manager at the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro. With over fourteen years of experience in her career, Carla is best known for her expertise in patterns, European grants and IP. In her current role, she is responsible for all intellectual property management at the university and overseeing the technology contracts.
Following the completion of her Bachelor’s degree, Carla went on to receive a Master’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from Universidade dos Açores in 2000. At the moment, Carla is pursuing a Doctoral degree in Management.
In the coming years, Carla would like to transition from her current role into that of the Director’s. She attributes her success to the passion she has for her work. Carla is very proud of all she has accomplished thus far and she is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member of the Worldwide Association of Female Professionals.
