Connie Wright is a Board Certified Educational Therapist and a a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She works with with children and adults who present learning disabilities, are gifted/talented, have ADHD, and those on the Autism Spectrum or having emotionally-related learning difficulties. For three decades, she has been working with children who benefit from visual, auditory, and tactile strategies for learning difficulties. Connie is a founding member of the Association of Educational Therapy, a national educational organization. She also offers senior citizens a series of art, crafts and journaling seminars. Connie has a PhD in Psychology from the Chicago School of Psychology and is a member of the Association of Educational Therapy and CAMP. Her short-term goals are to design an individualized program to fit the areas of need using academic and personal strengths. The long-term goal is to teach academic and self-esteem strategies to each student for self-advocacy. She has been successful in starting her business, WisElders, and is considering writing a book in the future.
