I am ot part of any political parties because of a personal belief and sense of responsibility to the matters that affect Panamanian reality at a political, cultural and social level. I believe it is important to remain objective as an active member of the cultural Panamanian Scene.

Miguel Ángel Ordóñez Guisado, was the first democratically elected Mayor of Panama city, back in the 20th Century. During his long political career, he was the President of the Assembly of Deputies, among many other important job positions. Carlota Guevara Stanziola, my grandmother from her father's side, studied special education at the New York University, and lived in NY, during the days of the Second World War. When she came back to Panama, she went to the assembly of deputies to request a budget from  the government to create IPHE (Instituto Panameño de Habilitación Especial= Panamanian Institute of Especial Education.) This is where she met my grandfather. Another member of my family that greatly influenced my career was my brother. He's be in the Golf Championship of Panama, Central America, and Latin America for a long period of time. He got a scholarship to play College Golf at the University of North Florida, and played golf at the highest level, right before the PGA Tour. My brother decided to come back to Panama and develop a career as an economist. He founded a landscaping company and is the Director of Admissions at the most prestigious golf course and club in the Republic of Panama. He has been an inspiration of motivation and fight throughout all my life.

Cristina Ordoñez had her first Solo Show at the French Alliance of Panama, when she was 16-years-old. Back in 2004, the French Embassy and the French Alliance of Panama, offered her a scholarship to paint murals in the Main Building of the French Alliance in Paris. Cristina was only 16-years-old, and could not enjoy this benefit due to the fact that she was underage. That exhibition and situation gave her the motivation to go to the University Complutense of Madrid to do her studies in Fine Arte (2006-2011.) Cristina started her degree in Fine Arts and on her last year, requested a scholarship to go to the University of New Mexico as an exchange student. Cristina wanted to learn printmaking, specifically lithography at the Tamarind Institute. During the second semester at UNM, she received an internship, thanks to the help of her Printmaking Professor, Shaurya Kumar, to work with Bill Lagatutta, master printer of Tamarind for over 22 years. Due to the economical crisis that started in 2008, and affected Spain enormously in year 2010, Cristina lost a job opportunity offered by one of her professors in art school. Oscar Alonso Molina was a very important art critic from Spain and offered her a grant at INSTITUTO DE CRÉDITO OFICIAL (ICO), that was suspended due to the first cuts of budgets of ICO. After, she came back to Panama unexpectedly, and began looking for private collectors to do the cataloguing process of their collections. Only one gave her the opportunity, bringing her to her first job in an art Gallery: Arteconsult. Cristina worked with the most prestigious gallerist of Panama for a year, specifically on the Bristol Hotel Project, HSBC project, Bladex project, and many other private collectors.
