I have worked in the education industry for the past 20 years in various roles such as Campus Director, National Director of Studies, and General Manager - Operations & Academia; and my main expertise is managing educational institutions. I have had extensive experience with both domestic and international students along with students with learning difficulties and my passion has grown over the years for educational content. Content that is focussed on topics and broadening student's skills, abilities and knowledge; not just teaching to prescribed assessment. Throughout my extensive education career this is the one area that I felt was lacking in the industry, and I observed many Colleges struggling to find educational resources that had sufficient content. They were either too expensive to use in a highly competitive educational market or they were of low quality. Therefore I founded Global Educational Supplies & Services in 2012 in order to provide educational resources for a very affordable amount with rights to re-print. I have also recently added Personal Development Units to our product list in order to assist High School leavers and career changers get that job/promotion that they desire. My goal is for GeSS to eventually be seen as the 'go to' company for education resources and advice through its consultancy arm.

For the past two years, Cristine Russell has been Managing Director of Global Educational Supplies & Services (GESS), a company that provides educational resources to both the public and the education industry. Cristine is responsible for the strategic direction, business development, financial management and operations of the company. With 20 years in the education industry and a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Cristine has recently completed her Master's degree in Education at the University of Wollongong. She spent 15 years in various roles including Director of Studies, Campus Manager, Campus Director, National Director of Studies and General Manager of Operations & Academia. She then spent the next 5 years with UOW College establishing their RTO and growing the college to include various business diplomas, childcare, aged care, community services and most impressively the Diploma of Nursing. The Diploma of Nursing is one of the most challenging qualifications to obtain approval for and the college was the first private RTO to be approved for NSW under her direction. She is driven by the passion to direct the focus of educational institutions on content and resources that'll assist new professionals in the corporate world. Cristine would like to network with like-minded professionals and promote the GESS mission.
