Cynthia Blain is the Director and Chief Operating Officer of Medic Management Group. She manages and consults on all aspects of physician practice operations, including human resources, staffing, scheduling, accounts receivable, accounts payable, debt financing, physician compensation models, and budgeting. Her specialties include practice management consulting, practice growth strategies, physician EMR implementations, and collection management.
Cynthia develops corporate compliance programs and engages staff in the development of coding templates to assist physicians in accurate coding policies. She directly oversees physician practice operations, including annual budgeting, monthly financial results reporting, productivity tracking, development of physician productivity standards models, integration strategies within health systems, and performs practice assessments to determine productivity standards and compensation methodologies. She also redesigns workflows to facilitate the use of electronic medical records.
Cynthia received her Master of Business Administration in accounting and finance from Case Western Reserve University and her Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Michigan. She is a member of the Medical Group Management Association, American College of Medical Practice Executives, and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
